Adjustment steps:

1. Check whether the crimping mold is clean and worn. Clean and replace worn molds if necessary.

2. Disconnect the power of the crimping machine and remove the protective device.

3. Insert the corresponding mold.

4. Load the terminal into the mold so that the first terminal is above the anvil.

5. Manually cycle the crimping machine to complete a complete cycle to ensure a smooth crimping process. If it is not smooth, remove the mold and check the closing height. Go to step 3.

6. Check whether the mold is aligned. Check the indentation from the anvil at the bottom of the terminal. Check whether the squeezed place is centered on the symmetrical crimped place. If the asymmetry is not centered, align the tool and go to step 5.

7. Check if the terminal feeding device feeds the next terminal directly above the anvil. If not, adjust the terminal feeding device and feeding head and go to step 5.

8. Reinstall all previously removed guards. (Follow all safety regulations listed in the operating instructions of the crimping machine and/or crimping tool)

9. Sample of electric crimping terminal.

10. Evaluate the length of the cut tail and the bell mouth of the core wire compression frame. If adjustment is needed, disconnect the power of the crimping machine and remove the protective device. Adjust the track position. Manually cycle the crimping machine and check the feeding position of the feeding finger, go to step 7.

11. Evaluate the conductor brush. If adjustment is required, disconnect the power source of the crimping machine and remove the protective device. Adjust the wire stop on the crimping table or the crimping position of the automatic wire processing equipment. Go to step 8.

12. Check the location of the insulation sheath. Adjust the stripping length if necessary, crimp a new sample, and then go to step 11.

13. Adjust the height of the insulation sheath crimping so that the insulation sheath crimping does not touch the wire core.

14. Crimp terminal samples.

15. Measure the crimp height of the core wire (if applicable) and compare with the specification. If necessary, cut off the power and remove the protective device. Adjust the crimp height of the core wire, replace the protective device, connect the power supply, and then go to step 14.

16. Conduct a tensile test. If the test fails, please refer to the troubleshooting method.

17. Adjust the crimping of the insulation sheath.

18. Crimp terminal samples.

19. Evaluate insulation crimp. If necessary, cut off the power and remove the protective device. Adjust the crimp height of the insulation sheath, replace the protective device, connect the power supply, and then go to step 18.

20. Measure the crimp height and compare with the specification. If necessary, cut off the power and remove the protective device. Adjust the crimp height of the core wire, replace the protective device, connect the power supply, and then go to step 18.

21. Record the measurement results.
